Through intense encouragement and an undying passion to help teen girls recognize and celebrate their own special qualities, Jill Powell’s high energy action and heartfelt summer camp called MOVE IT™ is making a dynamic impact in the hearts, minds and bodies of teen, tween and young girls nationwide.

Go For It and Believe in Yourself as I Believe in You are her mottos. In this very exciting program, budding actors, athletes, singers, writers, directors, rock stars, dancers, artists, drama queens, air guitarists or simply, just girls who like trying new things and want to discover their own special qualities, will be blown away by the things they discover that they can do.

Through Jill’s focused and energized guidance, girls work together, apart, in groups. They can hang with a buddy and perhaps open themselves up to a new one. Grow from peer conflict/resolution or learn from a student far less advanced than them.

Younger girls direct the older girls and the older girls mentor the younger ones. We learn teamwork, compassion, acceptance, tolerance and support. Each child is recognized as an individual. Jill mixes it up and sorts it all out to make things come out even better! Jill’s special connection with teens is remarkable and in this very special setting, magic happens. She holds their hands through the process while teens drop their inhibitions and create with broad strokes.

By the time Jill and the kids say their good byes, wall flowers have bloomed, drama queens have increased their star power, air guitarists can work a crowd, rock stars are ready for their first tour, athletes are facing their challenges head on and actors, dancers and singers know how to put it across the footlights. Ultimately girls will have found their voice, we have tapped into what makes their hearts sing and every girl will know THEY MATTER!

When campers leave they own a little bit more of “IT” (Inspired Transition) that charisma, presence, self pride and personal power that will get them noticed and stepping forward into their lives with confidence and a "GO FOR IT" attitude!
