Accomodations

A camper’s experience begins with their cabin. All campers will be living in bunks of 10 girls and 3 staff in sturdy pine bunk-beds. Each girl will have her own set of drawers, cubby space, and storage area in the bunk. All cabins are equipped with bathrooms and showers, electricity, and plenty of windows to help bring the outside in. Also, each bunk has its own screened in porch for relaxing during down time.

Dining

Nutritious meals are served buffet style in the dining pavilion. A fully stocked salad bar and deli bar are offered during lunch and dinner as well as a choice of hot entrée. The chef is able to accommodate individual dietary needs, including vegetarians and those with food allergies. Camp Move IT is a peanut-free environment. Fresh fruit and juice is available throughout the day and at night, all Move IT campers will get their choice of milk and cookies before bed.

Getting to Camp

Move IT!Girls are coming from all over the world to attend Camp Move IT. Move IT administrators are experienced in arranging camper transportation and will work with you to get your daughter here safely! There will be escorted buses at the beginning and end of each session from Newton, MA, Westchester, NY, Fairfield, CT and Hartford, CT. For campers flying to camp, we have organized pick-ups and drop-offs at Portland Jetport in Maine.
