Camp Move IT™ is an overnight-girl’s summer camp in New York State’s Catskill mountains. Through literary, visual, performing arts, etc., girls are inspired and empowered to try new things, broaden their perspectives and move with bold strokes towards their authentic identities. Camp Move IT™ is a diverse community where girls are celebrated for WHO they are, not WHAT they are, with a commitment to a label and judgement free environment!
Camp Move IT™ celebrates the unity of all girls ages 7-16 to experience magic! At Camp Move IT™ girls camp, we celebrate all girls from all walks of life. regarding race, socio-economics, religion, family structure, level of arts training, etc. Camp Move IT™ girls come together to make something extraordinary happen in their lives as well as those around them. They grow as creative people as well as tolerant and compassionate young women. Through amazing programs, girls share, and experience new forms of creativity and self-expression, that add up to a stunning self-esteem We’ve created a safe, open environment where girls learn that anything is possible and everything is within their reach. Combining arts and athletics, Camp Move IT™ offers girls the chance to discover their own personal-power and tap into talents and abilities they never knew they had.
At Camp Move IT™ girls camp, we work together, in age considered groups, as well as working separately to grow their infinite possibilities. When summer camp is over and its time for the girls to say goodbye to the Inspirers and professional artists who have become their friends,the tears are flowing, everything has been moved and possibilities wait in a very long line. Inhibitions have melted into artwork. Wallflowers have bloomed into strength. Drama queens have discovered their stage. Closet writers have become playwrights, Air guitarists have cut their first track. And each girl has discovered the power of her imagination to transform the world around her.
